Now You Can Unlock Your Skater's Hidden Range of Motion in Just 5 Days —

Without Forcing a Single Stretch, Even If You've Tried Everything and Nothing Has Stuck

The 5-Day Brain-Based Flexibility Challenge uses neuro drills — not passive stretching — to signal the nervous system it's safe to release. Most skaters feel a difference by Day 2. This is the home plan your coach never gave you

THE REAL PROBLEM

The reason your skater is still tight has nothing to do with how much they stretch

She can do the splits on the carpet — but she can't get her leg up on the ice.

You've watched her stretch before practice.

After practice.

Sit in splits on the living room floor.

Maybe private lessons.

Maybe extra off-ice sessions.

And her coach keeps mentioning it but hasn't given clear direction. Skills are getting harder to do. You're starting to wonder if this is just… how her body is built.

Here's what nobody has told you yet:

Flexibility isn't a muscle problem. It's a brain decision.

Your skater's nervous system is actively deciding how much range of motion to allow — and right now, it's saying no.

It's not being difficult. It's doing its job. It's protecting your skater from what it perceives as instability.

Stretching harder doesn't change that signal.

It often makes it worse — because forcing range the body doesn't feel safe in tells the nervous system to grip tighter.

That's why the gains disappear overnight.

That's why she's looser at home than at the rink.

That's why every stretching program you've tried gives partial results at best.

These drills change the signal. That's the difference.

That's why she can almost do the splits on the carpet but can't get her spiral above her hip on the ice.

The truth?

Flexibility is a neurological decision.

Your skater's nervous system is deciding whether it's safe to allow that range of motion and right now, it's saying no.

Stretching harder doesn't change that signal.

These drills do.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT

Why the Brain Controls
Your Skater's Flexibility

The visual system and vestibular system act as the brain's safety gatekeepers. When they feel stable and oriented, the nervous system releases its grip. When they don't — even on a normal, low-stress day — the body holds on tight.

👁 The Visual System

Your eyes don't just see, they anchor your nervous system in space.

When visual tracking is off, the brain reads the environment as unstable and reflexively grips your muscles tighter.

Eye tracking drills directly recalibrate this signal, telling the brain where you are in space so it can afford to let go.

→ On ice: more relaxed shoulders, freer hip movement, less bracing

🌀 The Vestibular System

The vestibular system is your balance and orientation center.

For skaters who are constantly spinning, jumping, and landing this system is working overtime.

Targeted vestibular drills recalibrate your sense of balance and position, reducing the protective tension the body holds when it's uncertain about where it is.

→ On ice: better spin centering, calmer landings, improved spatial awareness

When both systems feel safe, the body releases range it was always capable of — but never felt safe enough to use.

THE 5-DAY CHALLENGE

What Your Skater Does
Each Day

10 minutes. No equipment. At home or at the rink.

Each session is short by design. The nervous system responds to consistent, specific signals — not long, exhausting sessions. Each day builds on the last, cueing the brain progressively deeper into release.

Day 1: Balance Reach with fixing the eyes on a single point

Visual Anchor Activation

Day 2: Core Twist Challenge + Spinal Twist Reset

Bilateral Brain Activation

Day 3: Hip Figure 8s + Foot Reflex Prep

Foot Neurology and Hip Drive

Day 4: Rock and Roll + Vestibular Reset

Inner Ear Balance and Core

Day 5: Skater Gide Simulation & Eye Tracking Drill

Oculomotor

TWO APPROACHES

THE OLD WAY vs. THE BRAIN-BASED WAY

Why this works when traditional stretching doesn't

Traditional Stretching

❌Forces range the nervous system isn't ready to allow

❌Gains reset overnight — body returns to protected state

❌Can trigger more protective tension when pushed too hard

❌No connection to why a skater tightens on ice vs. at home

❌Relies on pain tolerance, not neurological readiness

Brain-Based Neuro Drills

✅ Signals the brain it's safe — body releases on its own

✅ Results carry over because the nervous system has shifted

✅ Works withthe body's protective system, not against it

✅ Addresses why skaters tighten under pressure or on ice

✅ No forcing, no pain — appropriate for ages 8–14

Meet YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Jena Hansen-Honeycutt

Doctor of Athletic Training · Movement Specialist · Certified Athletic Trainer

I spend my days at George Mason University working with college-level dancers and performing artists — injury treatment, rehab, movement assessment.

The athletes who come to me are trying to hold onto their flexibility, rebuild what was lost, and stay powerful enough to execute skills at an elite level.

Most of them lost something between the ages of 10 and 18 that nobody caught in time.

Some lost range they are having difficulty getting back.

Others are technically flexible — I can move their leg through full range — but they can't get there on their own. The brain knows the range exists. It just doesn't trust the body to control it.

That's a motor control problem.

And it is significantly harder to fix at 18 than it would have been to prevent at 10.

I work with younger athletes by referral only.

But this? This is different.

$17 and 5 days is a very small thing to do while the window is still open. I see every day what it costs to wait. Most parents never know this information exists until it's already a problem.

This is me making sure you're not one of them.

I also work with dancers, cheerleaders and performing artists, the same nervous system principles that govern flexibility in skaters govern flexibility in every athlete whose body has to perform under pressure. If your child dances or cheers, this applies to them too.

🛡 The "Real Difference" Guarantee

I want you to be able to show this to your skater and say: watch... this is going to be different.

Complete all 5 days with your skater. Run the before/after movement tests in the Parent's Guide. If you don't see a measurable change in their range of motion — something you can physically observe — email me within 7 days and I'll refund every penny.

No questions. No hoops. No drama.

I'm this confident because I've watched this work with my own athletes, in clinical settings, for years. I'm simply making it accessible to parents who deserve to understand what's actually happening in their skater's body.

WHY THE TIMING MATTERS MORE THAN THE PRICE

Every week of forced stretching with a nervous system that isn't ready makes the system more guarded. The body learns to protect harder.

The sooner you shift the signal, the less your skater has to undo.

This challenge will only be available on its own at $17 during the launch window.

After that, it becomes part of the full Skater Strength Foundations program at $99.

Five days. Ten minutes a day.

A nervous system that finally feels safe enough to let go.

Your skater's next growth spurt is coming.

Flexibility imbalances that are subtle now become significant fast. Start here.

Got questions?

What age is this for?

The challenge is designed for figure skaters ages 8–14. The drills are age-appropriate and safe for developing nervous systems. Younger skaters often respond even faster than adults because their systems are more adaptable.

Is this only for skaters who are "not flexible"?

Not at all. Even flexible skaters often have untapped range they can't reliably access under pressure — on ice, in competition, or after long practices. Neuro drills help anyone use more of what they already have, more consistently.

Do I need special equipment?

Almost nothing. A clear space to move is all that's required for most days. Day 3 uses a tennis ball (or any small firm ball) rolled under the feet, something most families already have. No gym equipment, bands, or foam rollers needed

Will this conflict with their coach's training?

This is designed to complement coaching, not replace it. These are off-ice drills done at home. Many parents share their skater's progress with coaches...and coaches love seeing off-ice initiative backed by real results.

What happens after the 5 days?

You'll have a daily maintenance reset (Day 5) to keep the nervous system calibrated. For skaters who want to build on this foundation with structured strength training, the 10-Week Skater Strength Foundations course is the natural next step — and challenge graduates get early access.

When do I get access after buying?

Immediately. You'll receive an email with access to everything... all 5 videos, the parent guide, progress tracker, and bonus, right away. You can start today.
